Fabric Mask Donation List

In these wild times, sewers around the world are mobilizing to provide fabric masks to hospitals, nursing homes, and other healthcare professionals in need. Scrap piles are being raided, elastic is flying off the shelves, and tutorials are flooding the internet. However, many hopeful helpers have churned out hundreds of fabric masks and had their donations turned down at the door.

This master donation list is being compiled and updated to provide makers with delivery addresses and donation criteria. If you know of a hospital in need, please send an email to contact@kdornbier.com with:

    • Name of the institution
    • Address for shipping donations
    • Do they require a 'filter pocket' in the masks or not?
    • Do they have a preference of classic surgical mask or N95 mask shapes?
    • Elastic requirements
      • Are they looking for masks with elastic around the ears?
      • Are they looking for masks with elastic around the back of the head?
      • If elastic is not available, are fabric ties okay?
    • Any other donation requirements that may cause deliveries or drop-offs to be denied

*Please note: This list does not guarantee donations will be made to any location. We are only trying to give crafters some guidance so that their time, effort, and supplies are more effectively and efficiently utilized.
